KORA Child Safety Standards

Version 2026-10-01

KORA is a short-video platform published by KORA Social Network, a business registered in Québec (Canada). This page explains how KORA fights child sexual abuse and exploitation.

Zero tolerance

KORA prohibits any content or behaviour that sexualizes, exploits or endangers a child: child sexual abuse imagery or videos, soliciting or grooming a minor for sexual purposes, sextortion, trafficking, and any content that presents a minor in a sexualized way. This applies to videos, captions, comments, profiles and links.

KORA is for adults only

You must be 18 or older to create an account: date of birth is requested at sign-up. On Google Play, access is also blocked for accounts that Google identifies as belonging to minors. An account we learn belongs to a minor is deleted.

Reporting

Every video, comment and account has a report button. The "Child safety" reason puts the report at the top of the moderation queue: it is reviewed first, before any other. You can also write to [email protected].

What we do

Child sexual abuse material is removed as soon as it is found, and the account that posted it is deleted; that account's email address can no longer be used to sign up. We report such material to Cybertip.ca (Canadian Centre for Child Protection) and to the competent police authorities, as Canadian law requires, and we preserve the information the law requires for their investigation. We respond to requests from authorities in accordance with the law.
